    Concerning Signs and Wonders.

In no way am I against signs and wonders.
They should be a normal happening, in the life of every true Christian.
Healing and deliverance are sign gifts to a sin sick world.
There is a loving heavenly Father who desires people to be blessed and be free.
Sickness in the church is a sign of disobedience and repentance is the key to walking in divine health.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

I personally have witnessed hundreds healed and delivered through prayer, the laying on of hands, and commanding spiritual forces of darkness to leave.

Signs and wonders, [included in that is healings] are not necessarily proof of the presence of Father God.

They are an attribute [Part of Father God’s grace gifts to his children] of God activated by faith.
Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.”

The true sign of the presence of God is found in Job 42:6 “Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

Isaiah 6:5 “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”

That is why in Matthew 24:23-27 we are told not to go running after such things.

What is of most importance is relationship; being joined first to Father God, through the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit, then with each other as his body.
Just as Jesus prayed that they may be one, just as He and the Father are one.
    John 17:21-22.

We must not judge out of what we know as right and wrong, we need to hear clear from the throne of Grace what we as individuals should do and say.
1 Corinthians 4:4 Judge nothing before the time.
Sure we are to share our concerns, the main thing is to testify of what the Holy Spirit has to say about it, not what I want to say.

Jesus only said and did what his Father instructed him to do,
John 8:28-29 put another way, He walked through each day in relationship, not doing or saying anything, outside of that relationship.
So must we, to be a representative of Jesus on earth today.

All must line up with God’s Word.
The truth is in knowing that whatever is said and done is from Father God.
    1) People are repenting. Acts 2:38
    2) Jesus is being lifted up. John 12:23
    3) People are manifesting the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23.

    The Bride and the Bridegroom.
The Bride who is made up of every true born again by the Holy Spirit believer, and the bridegroom Jesus, are not married yet.
The church period, is when Jesus has returned to prepare a place for his Bride, and will return to collect her. John 14:1.
While Jesus is away the Bride is still in the father’s house under the father.

There are 2 descriptive stories in the Word that give an illustration of this.
Genesis 24 where Abraham who represents the Father, sends his trusted servant Eliezer, who represents the Holy Spirit, to get a Bride [Rebekah] for his son [Isaac] who represents Jesus.

The other is in Matthew 25, the story of the 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins.
They were waiting for the bridegroom to return for his bride and attend the wedding which is the marriage supper of the Lamb, Revelation 19:9

The church is not under Jesus, it is under the Father, hence, this is why Satan has done his best to destroy fatherhood.
The church is looking to Jesus to take care of it when he cannot until the marriage.
Until then he has left the Holy Spirit to help the bride get ready.
    John 16:5-15.

Jesus being the expected bridegroom of every Believer, Jesus should be the lover of their soul.

The expectant bride all through her courtship is in love with her boyfriend with an excitement of his soon return so they can be married.

Can I really say, “I’m in love with Jesus and he’s in love with me”

The tension for the future bride between the engagement and the marriage while still living under her father and his provision, and spending her days in expectation of the time when she leaves her fathers house and is provided for by her husband.

What it means to be a true Christian is to have the experience of Jesus living within by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
For that to happen is an experience, and a change takes place on the inside.
It is called in church terms, being born again.
Instead of anger and hatred, there is only love.

This has taken place in my life several times.
I attended church for 7 years, and all I was, was religious, keeping a set of laws.
Then I had a Spiritual encounter.
The first time was in my bedroom at midday, when I cried out for assurance of salvation and Love, Joy and Peace filled my whole being from the inside out.
Another time was when in prayer, I told God I was miserable, blind poor and naked and a voice so loud I thought it was a human speaking to me said, “No you are clean”
Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice” John 10:27

Soon after that I was told I needed to keep the traditions [Laws] of the denomination I was attending.
That put me back from a relationship to walking out each day by law. All it did was make me fell guilty and condemned, when all the time I was forgiven and clean because Jesus paid the price for my sin.
As long as I walked in obedience , inner peace reigns. Colossians 3:15.

The book of Galatians was written because of this issue between law and grace
God saved them and then some demanded they follow the law of circumcision.
    Romans 2:29 makes it clear.
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Law is all about death and destruction to relationships.
Grace is all about life and living relationships.

It is some time since the last comment on Roy’s post, the days seem to go by at a very fast rate, before one knows it another week has rushed by.

I have been out of NZ for 3 weeks visiting and ministering in the Islands of both American and Western Samoa.
Night after night people gathered with a hunger to hear the messages that brought them freedom, specially as they turned from following law to seeking to live by relationship with Father God through the Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit and loving one another by refusing to be a judge.

Back to the foundation of Loving God, and loving one another, leaving all judgment to the only one who can judge righteously.

Another issue shared, was that all people desire to be loved, accepted and forgiven, I desire that, just like every one else.
Until some one starts to give, no one can receive.

Yet another issue was to do with respect and security.
Men want to be respected and women want to feel secure.
It is only as each person finds their true security by being in a living relationship with their maker, can they be to each other what is required to bring these two things to reality.

Where there is no relationship man must live by law to keep from killing each other, but to remain living by law opens the door to independence and control.
A Bible verse to ponder is Romans 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

Another article will be posted on the web site this week on the Church titled, What is it, and how should a local congregation be led.

    Rejection.
    What is it?
What are some of the symptoms?
    How to get free?

Rejection is a death curse, a cut off of love and responsibility especially by those who are meant to be responsible.
Father, Mother, siblings, close friends, all in a place of authority.

Rejection is a happening that can take place as early as when conceived because one or both of the parents did not want another child.

The main symptoms are fear and hurt feelings.
Very negative words and action is felt like a dagger going deep within and being turned around.
All a living reality, of insecurity.

To cope, the rejected will either get very angry and lash out, or sleek away into a place of hiding not wanting to communicate with people, spending time buried in a hobby, or have and animal as a pet.

They can communicate as long as emotions are not involved.
Talk about cars non-stop, or whatever subject they have locked themselves into.

What turns an occurrence into control, that goes on year after year?
Judgment on the part of the victim..
The victim has the key to break that control.

The key to being set free is to take all judgment off rejection, the people it used, and the situation.
Not to do so, is an act of pride and the pain will continue.

See fuller notes on rejection on this site.

    The Beast of Revelation 13.

All the years I have read Revelation I could never figure out who the beast of chapter 13 represented.

The following point was in an article I read recently and as I did the revelation came in a flash that this is the answer.

A Monster Develops a Life Of It’s Own.
All monsters will eventually wake up, break the straps and get
off the table. This is true of our mild mannered organizations also.
Something shocks it to life, and the restraints are gone. It
develops a mind of its own. A tide of issues, and events that have
nothing to do with the original purpose for the organization
descend on the creators. Some welcome it, and thrive in the
energy. For others it scary. Your input seems to make no
difference, the creature only makes unintelligent noises. Your
instinct is to direct it, but the truth is the creature has it’s own life now!

But in the Body of Christ life always flows from the head, that is,
from Christ. It is not created or organized, but received. The true
church is born because of His life. It never was ours to create.

“…grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every
ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working
properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love..”
    Ephesians 4:15, 16.

Galatians puts it all another way.
What was started by the Holy Spirit, ends up being run by the flesh.
No true life, dead works, living by law..
