\n This is how I understand it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a verse that is repeated 3 times, first in Deuteronomy 24:16
\nThe fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the
\nchildren be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death
\nfor his own sin.
\nThe others are 2 Kings 14:6 and 2 Chronicles 25:4<\/p>\n

For generational curses to be passed down there has to be a door.<\/p>\n

The other scripture that is clear is in Exodus 20: 12 “Honor thy father and
\nthy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God
\ngiveth thee.”
\nAnd Ephesians 6:1-3 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.”
\nHonor thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
\nThat it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.<\/p>\n

Now the key to breaking generational curses is to repent for not honoring
\nparents by judging them.
\nWe are not the judge of our parents, we know what they did, but do we know
\nwhy?<\/p>\n

Back to the The Trees.
\nThe day I was born again by the Spirit I became a brand new person,
\n2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
\nold things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.<\/p>\n

Because I have not honoured my parents in the old nature, an issue will come
\nup soon after I received the new nature. (A speed bump)
\nAt that moment I have the tree of life to go to for direction, if I do and
\nobey the curses are broken, have no hold or power.
\nIf I go back to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, (Right and
\nwrong) I lock myself back into the old nature and the curses become
\nactivated again and I put myself under their control.<\/p>\n

Counsellors will take you back in the old nature to try and find the key,
\nwhen the key is always found in the new nature.
\nCounsellors tried to get the old nature sanctified, that is not scriptural,
\nno where does it tell me to sanctify the old, what it does tell me is to
\nwalk in the new and the old one is crucified as long as I do.<\/p>\n

This is radical, this is walking by the Spirit which is what we should be
\nteaching people.<\/p>\n

If I do not steal as obedience to law, my heart is not changed, and I am not
\nwalking by the Spirit.
\nWhen walking by the Spirit I do not want to steal, cheat, lie commit
\nadultery, because the Holy Spirit does not want to do those things.
\nI do not want to judge my parents or any one, all I will desire is to love
\nthem. Love never fails 1 Corinthians 13:8.<\/p>\n

True believers are strangers here on earth, this is not our home or
\ndestination, here we have no continuing city, patriotism is not of Father
\nGod for the Spirit directed believer.<\/p>\n

All we have is relationships, first with Father God through Jesus by the
\nSpirit and then with fellow man starting with Parents, Husband\/Wife,
\nchildren, and fellow man.<\/p>\n

Pray the above will bring spiritual understanding which is far from where
\nmost believers are at, very sad to say.<\/p>\n

The problem is that few believers understand the spiritual kingdom we are
\ninvolved in.
\nWe are spiritual beings, having an earthly experience.<\/p>\n
