What did the Church gathering look like when it first began after the resurrection of Jesus?<\/p>\n
1) They met in homes.
\n2) Breaking of bread [communion] was included as part of an evening meal on the first day of the week. Acts 20:7
\n3) The format for the gathering 1Corinthians 10 to 14.
\n4) All took part, one at a time unless singing 1 Corinthians 14:26.
\n5) No one up front leading, all contributing a little.
\n6) Leadership male. Males were responsible before God for wife and children. 1Timothy 3:2, 1Peter 3:7
\n7) As to matters of leadership and discerning, women keep silent because women are likely to be deceived as Eve was.
\nAny discernment they had, they were to ask their husbands or dad at home. 1Corinthians 14:34-36<\/p>\n
Another subject.
\nWhat happens when Jesus returns for his bride? I believe this will be the greatest 24hour evangelical witness.
\n1Thessalonians 4:13-18.
\nIt is taken from what happened when Jesus died on the cross,
\nMt 27:52-53: The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.<\/p>\n
When Jesus returns for his bride the dead in Christ will rise first, as it says in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, and they will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, not caught up.
\nIt will take a day of 24 hours, and as the day dawns around the world, the saints will rise from where they left off their old bodies, walk into the nearest town as a witness, and then be caught up. Those who at that moment witness the raising of the dead will have a few minutes to choose to accept Jesus and go with them, or remain to go through great tribulation.
\nThat is why we are told in Luke 17:32 to Remember Lot\u2019s wife.
