But God
\nIn this morning\u2019s meditation two interesting words came while praying:
\nBut God. These two words appear 44 times in the KJV translation, first in Genesis 20:3, the last 1Thessalonians 4:8.<\/p>\n
Then came the verse,
\n1Jo 5:19 \u201cAnd we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.\u201d<\/p>\n
My thinking is that Satan has permeated the whole world with his evil desires like what happened to Lot,
\n2Pe 2:8 \u201cFor that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds.\u201d<\/p>\n
We are living in a polluted world and need day by day to renew our mind by meditation on Philippians 4:8 \u201c Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.\u201d I was given that verse 57 years ago and it keeps popping up in my mind.<\/p>\n
The words But God relate to what men have planned as their agenda for the world. Man\u2019s plans have not put God in the equation.<\/p>\n
Men think China will collapse when the American dollar goes down, but it will not. China will shake its head and get on with business.<\/p>\n
The key nations to watch are in the middle east, not North America.<\/p>\n
We have a hope and a future.
